Fear

I cannot stand this constant fear
When I close my eyes you will appear
To hold you close, to find you here <3
To wake and find you no-where near

Sun rises upon my face
I look around this empty place
A tear slides down my face
You are gone without a trace

I stagger out of my bed, the pictures of you still rushing through my head
If you tell me to, i'll walk out the door
And you wont hear from me anymore

But

I cannot stand this constant fear
Of losing all i hold dear

This fear of losing someone is lurking everywhere and all loves have this fear, implicit or explicit. It is really taxing all.
