Hi, I'm a new member of the forum
Check out my sonnet! I'm not good at poetry so please feel free to make any comments or corrections. It's supposed to be in iambic pentameter and follows shakespeare's style. Thanks:biggrin5:
My lament
Morosely, “God” exchanged me without a grief,
But rather cherish and hurrah my parting,
Abandon me lamenting life is brief
And crave the past of pure and pride and shining.
I don’t possess attraction, honor, spotlight,
Nor am I precious to fondle or caress.
I live a life in lack of sunlight and delight,
Oppressed with wailing, whining, and suppress.
But lastly I accost my lifetime buddy,
Then he is not aware of who I am.
I tell you he is not alive and healthy
And left me lonely like neglecting spam.
Oh my disastrous fate! My fate! My fate!
The dismal, distress, depressive life I hate!
Answer: I’m a coffin! The “God” is the creator of me, the coffin. My owner wants to trade me for money. I’m sad because I’m no longer clean like in the store because I’ll get a dead body and I am no longer taken care and cleaned by my owner in the store. I live in lack of sunlight and happiness because I’m buried and people cried in the funeral. My buddy doesn’t know me because he’s dead.
