here's a few poems i've scrawled in my notebook lately.
Howling in the canyons
the canyon walls
stone cliffs
clean rock
and the echo.
*
i often think of the dead
and imagine them being led
into a beautiful palace
with nothing beyond
its walls.
the windows are mirrors,
reflecting death back into the room.
*
Debt used to be a crime
now it is an inevitability.
*
everything on television at the moment
seems to be cheapening our existence. Advertisements
achieve their aims of selling a product, but
they do so at the expense of society. We are
portrayed as worthless, thoughtless, comical
characters in our own little show.
