Many of us, especially those of us in Europe, work and live along side an extensive Polish Community. There are few even here on Litnet. Its tragic to hear of the Death of there president and 95 other officials in a plane crash this morning, a crash that could have been avoided. I work with a girl whos uncle was on the plane.
Lets say a prayer or spare a though for all our Polish friends In RL and those that frequent the forum.

For anyone who hasnt heard

An absolute tragedy. To lose so much of the government in one go must be shattering.

Its a tragic coincidence. The area that the crash happened was the site were thousands of Polish died at the hands of the Russians in 1940... they were going to Russian for the 70th Aniversary. Now the Polish people will think of that location for two tragic events in their history. :(

Too much tragedy for one single spot. I hope they can soon recover, seeing they lost the majority of their leaders. Poor families.
