The Poet’s Tree

‘Neath the Poet’s Tree
He wrote his poetry
Sipping potent tea
Flowing prosery
From his pen so free
Each a potentiality
For a public read
In some Poetic ‘Zine
Vibrant imagery
Frantic energy
Composing carefully
Laughing delightedly
Busy as a bee
Was the Poet as he
Sat ‘neath the Poet’s Tree…

What an intriguing idea - an "aaaaa" rhyme scheme. Know what I want to say about this? "Aaaaaaah!" Thanks for posting this!

Very enjoyable Pen. I am fascinated by it. The only suggestion, and this is from my personal style, I care for the repeation in the last line as a summary. I know lots do, but for some reason it just comes across as unnecessary to my ear. But other than that i thought this a fine poem. :)

you're a genius. this poem captures something that has eluded me in my poetry which I have never been able to capture. this poem is a simple and concise masterpiece in my opinion!
