Many of us are wondering about what would really happen on the exact date of December 21, 2012.
Earthquakes, tsunami threats, incoming hurricane, drought in some parts of asia,..............
Do you believe on the happenings that were seen on TV/movies? or is it just a hoax? or you just don't care about all?

So many predictions!

Actually...(since the year 2012 is based off of Jesus Christ's birth), many scholars agree that the dating system was miscalculated by about 4 years. If you look at many time lines, you might notice that Jesus was born 4 BC. When the discovery was made of the error, there were too much established on the erroneous reference point, so corrections were not attempted. All of this said...if there was something mystic about 12/21/12, it actually would have happened on the date that we call.....12/21/08. Just because we erroneously referred to it as 2008 doesn't make it so...

Therefore....no, nothing special about that date!

I am not worried in the slightest; I think, now that movies and TV is capitalizing on the prediction, it is completely ridiculous.

However - I can't say that I won't feel a bit uneasy that morning.

Nope, I dont believe any of it. From the beginning of time humanity has been fascinated with and predicting Armageddon. They will continue to do this forever. Newton predicted the end in 2060. What date is next?

Do you really believe the curtain falls down in 2012? Does the person who is trying to convince you really believe it?

There is one way to find out.

If someone really believes it, he would probably lend huge amount of money from several sources (including mafia), have booze, drugs, sex & rock´n roll as much as he could and spend the rest. No sweat about paying back, eh?

If someone does not do that, he probably does not believe.

It isn't a Hoax of anykind. It's just a mix of science and religious theory. I have no idea what will happen, but I would not be surprised if alot of stupid people do really stupid stuff to others, and if many people take their lives. I hope something happens, not to kill everyone off or end the earth, but to maybe put people in their place a bit. Make them get over themselves and start to appreciate what really matters. I'm sad to say I dont know if there is any other way. Something will happen that has never happend in our known history, when the planets aline. Maybe it will change the earth, maybe it will do nothing. All I know is alot of people, are going to end up very hurt, and hopefully wiser at the end of it all.

I mostly just don't care. I know how callous that sounds, but if the end of the world really is coming there isn't much I can do about it so why worry? Instead of worrying over scenarios that could happen, I live in the present. It seems to be working out good so far.

At a guess, I figure 21/12/2012 will be a lot like the 20th and 22nd of December 2012.

There have been thousands of predictions of the world ending and none of tham have come to pass thus far, so I don't see this being any different.

Y2K came and went and not even one person died as a result.

On 22/12/2012 the shoal of red herrings will disperse and the few poor souls who really thought the world would end will end up going to work just like the rest of us.

Whats happening with the planet is normal. Techtonic activity goes through a process of fast and slow periods (ie little activity or lots of activity). We are just going through a period of increased activity.

Just wait, the media will get a hold of some reports showing how we are causing Tectonic Activity, and we will hear about that for the next five years. I'm sure that it is being caused by playing our music too loud. Hollywood (with all of their movie making) is causing it there.
