You come along with the thickness of the dawn,
Whispering in woven wonder
Of what has been and what will be.
You wrap your silken arms around me
And seduce with your tasseled promises.
Yet, the deluge seems unavoidable
With its towering thunder and menacing magnificence.
Promise me, once more,
Convince me of your power
To take me above the conflict and chaos,
Above the war and sickness,
Above pain - and death itself.
Engulf me in rapturous bliss,
In Vermilion ecstasy.
Fanstasy, like a golden scepter,
Permits your entrance – enter me.
Heal me with your milky skin
As we soar above the undertow.
