Anyone know any good books on American Hieresses marrying titled men ?

I haven't yet read it, but 'The Titled Americans' by Elizabeth Kehoe seems to be what you're looking for. It's about three American sisters and the English aristocrats they married. One of these women was the mother of Winston Churchill. It's a nonfiction book, though, so if you're looking for a novel you might not be interested.

Also, Edith Wharton's 'The Age of Innocence' is about an American woman who disastrously marries a Polish count, and returns home to New York, where she falls in love with a relative... I'm sure there's something by Henry James on this subject as well.
