Hi All, I joined the Literature Network in January 2009 and logged in a number of times to different Forums. I found most of the Posts to be very abusive and sometimes personally insulting (not toward me but toward each other in the Forums) so I stopped visiting. I'm going to start again and see if I have a different experience this time.

This is the most tame and shy forum I've ever visited. It's very strange that you had that experience...

I've only been on this forum for a day and I haven't seen any thing like that - but then who knows...

Nevertheless - as a new member I welcome the return of an old one. x

I've been here for some time. I love the forum and the people here. I have seen some of the threads get heated, but I mostly avoid those discussions. Stick around, I think you'll find us a friendly lot.

Believe me, sir/ma'am, when I tell you that the members of this forum are the most honest people I've ever had the honor to chat and communicate with online. True, sometimes things get edgy at times, but we quickly return best friends, heated topics mostly appear because of different points of view, or just a matter of opinion. Other than that, I can say without a doubt that we are all here for the same reason: the passion of the pen.

I might not know much about what you really experienced the first time you joined, but I've been through some really embarrassing situations here myself, and everyone was warm and understanding. Stay with us for a while, and I'm sure you'll touch something here that hooks you to LitNet. Wish you the grandest of stay, and hope to read your pen's words soon. (^_^)

I'm going to start again and see if I have a different experience this time.I hope you do. I'm a bit intrigued though: This is one of the best behaved and relaxed sites I have ever come across, and believe me when I say that I have seen many. Of course people clash sometimes, but I see that as an exception rather than the rule here.

Keep posting.
