I am in need of help. I am just beginning an essay for english, in which I must draw the connections between The Aeneid and its historical context. I have formed my body paragraphs as follows: how Aeneas was received during his time in the epic, how the epic was received during the time of Caesar Augustus, and how The Aeneid has been received by the people of the 21st Century.
If anyone can give me a short description of any one of those topics, I would be very appreciative. I mostly need help with the my second body paragraph and third. Any major points would be helpful, however. I am trying to get as many sources as possible to expand my essay.
