What is Act 1 mainly about? How does Shakespeare use literary devices to display this theme evident in Act 1. Please be specific with quotes. I need two devices, with two examples of each. Please hurry! (AND I HAVE READ ACT 1) (PLEASE DON'T LISTEN TO "ABRAS", PLEASE HELP ME)

Really? You can't even read Act !?
Sorry mate, but no one here wants to do your homework for ya. And, anyway, I suggest you read the play. Sit down for a few hours, read the play, take notes. It's Shakespeare: there's a very good chance that you'll enjoy it. And even if you don't, it's Shakespeare -- definitely something worth exposing yourself to, even if you don't like it.

I have already read it, but I don't understand it. It's hard for me to tell the different literary devices.

http://www.sparknotes.com/shakespeare/romeojuliet/section2.rhtml Sparknotes can help. You sound rather distressed, which leads me to believe that you're a heinous procrastinator, which makes me want to help you less.

hi, as far as i can recall from my study of this tragedy written by shakespeares, I will try to help if i can,

it is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare. It depicts the conflict between two families in Italy of the middle ages. The tragedy is quiet rich in themes which are contrasted like that of love vs hate , and life vs death.
therefore, such images cant be seen clearly in the play.

first of all, it is good to read the whole play, the try to read notes, after this
try to analyze the main cocept of the first act, which mainly concentrates on showing
how love sick is Remeo.Love which is life contasts with sickness that leads to death

thanks
