View Full Version : What are you of most in life?

People are escaping all the time. They want to escape a variety of things, and some their enemies, some deaths, some their fiancés, some their parents and still some the wraths of God. Some of the loss of jobs, others the loss of their beloveds
Fear is lurking in us all time and nobody in this world is free of this syndrome. We have something within our cerebrums warning us all the time. Primitively a caveman was always running to escape the attack of a wild creature. This keeps us occupying us and we have this been carrying out since a prehistoric time.
And no one here on the forum is free of it or them. In fact we have bunches of fear and some fears melt away at the end of the day and others stick with us till the end of life.
I fear I may die all of a sudden. Fear that I may lose the love I am getting. Fear that I will be out of the circle of friends. Fear that our planet will be hit by a celestial body, a comet or some other astral objects.
I hope all will share their fears. At times releasing the suppressed emotions of fear becomes the very panacea of it.
Share. Release and feel relieved…

Hey Blaze !
Its a good thread...
And as much i try to fear nothing but God , yet i fear of not being a great parent ..i fear of not being able to raise my kids in the right way in such a world .
I fear of losing what i love most . Am afraid of dying without seeing my dad.
Yea , we all fear something , even if we deny it in most of the times . That is because we like to appear strong and in control . Human nature in fact.
Fear - that's the reason why the human being has the ability to push things to the back of its mind.... and the reason why we have alcohol. ;)
Seriously, we have to push our fear away when we want to have a life worth living. This may be not very healthy, because everything that is pushed away will come back one day, but at least it is possible to live a few days, weeks, months in peace...or so...
We have to deny our fear most of the time - it's the only way to keep us going on and not lean back in resignation.
I guess, my greatest fear is the fear of the future (or in general, fear of the unkown, fear of everything beyond my control...), but I must not think about it (all the time), otherwise I couldn't act anymore and wouldn't have a life/ a future at all.
No fear of God for me - he/she/it doesn't exist.
Believing in something/someone is no suitable method for me to cope with the unknown.
Sorry for my bad English.

For now I fear my relative ability to detect a lie that hides itself behind a nifty truth, perhaps too nifty to be really real. And I fear my ability to smell secrecy, which in itself is a lie shapeshifted. Hence, I fear my nose, because if it wasn't for my nose, I wouldn't smell what I smell. I may also say I fear liars and their skill to lie or to keep secrets, but in fact it's their ability what I fear the most, because their ability could one day become better than mine to detect theirs.

i fear myself at times - putting myself on a stool right now. i am constantly in and out of clinics and have bipolar. the general fear of something is overwhelming but the sensations when you fear yourself because of what you want to do and think of doing is very frightful

I fear I don't fear anything.
Is that something to be fearful about?

You said so much by saying less than I said so little by saying so much. That is the mystery of saying, maybe the technique of saying.

I have often feared the mysteries of saying... too... words having the tremendous power of healing... as well as the awful power of destroying.

We fear the word "fear".

I think perhaps the things we fear most are death and pain...it is human nature to avoid them.
However I think that some do not fear either...and Yes I fall into that. I am not afraid of death nor pain.
