A poem about a solid friendship! "Be strong for both of us, be strong", pushes solidarity as if to an edge of some undetected (for me) danger which the friendship will prevent. At least, it feels to me so.

I read this and thought of the pub scene in the operetta "Les Miserables". Student friends drinking and planning a revolution knowing full well some would live and some would die.

Of course, I don't think your meaning is quite so dire (unless one of you is going off to war). More simply... a graduation from school perhaps. That time you suddenly find yourself shifting from youth into an adult world. Good line breaks and a nice flow but the last line is a little weak I think and needs some more oomph. Nicely done.

I think its funny you said that, shortly after I wrote this I almost died and the person I wrote it to ended up saving my life at the last minute.

Well, it's not funny at all if you really were in danger! but I'm glad your FRIEND saved you! The "funny" thing on my side is that I DID have the feeling you were in danger as I read your poem... that is why I spoke of (to me) "undetected" danger... well - trust life and friendship, Revolt, but do take a good care of yourself!!!
