Hello, this is my first post, so please (gently) let me know if I make any bbs faux pas and I'll make sure not to do it again.
I am currently reading a fascimile of Berners' 1549 translation of Diego de San Pedro's Prison of Love, and I'm stuck on one of the passages where Laureola replies to the author.
The sentence starts at the bottom of the first page.

"Therefore in your words..."
Here is a full shot of the second page (if context will help)
Page 2: http://www.m5b.org/images/cda_02.png
I can't read the key word on page two.
Zoom: http://www.m5b.org/images/cda_zoom.png
"for your demand is [cannot read]..."
Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is really bugging me!
Thanks a bunch and have a nice day.
