I am exploring the the concept of creating new national identities through the power of literature. I'm currently focusing on Yeats and his insight on the British rebellion in Ireland during the early 20th century and his political views expressed in his poems, such as, Easter 1916, Byzantium, and others.
I am in need of some help and I hope you will share your interpretation of how Yeats is attempting to create a new national identity through his writings. :)
