This week is my Dr Seuss Week at my daughter's school. It will be a lot of fun with many great activities. So, I am going to create a few games and a few other threads this week, so that we all can share in the fun. Please don your favorite character as your avatar...as will I...

Please share your favorite story here....or share anything you'd like for that matter.

Hello Bienvenu,

Ok, I'm game.
Dr. Seuss is right up my alley and if your daughter needs help finding something, may I suggest this seach method:

"Calculatus Elimantus"

and as for hats in another language, she should consider listening to this:

Cat in the Hat song:
(wait through the few seconds of Lennon)

I like Cat in the Hat, and all the big well-known titles, with the Sleep Book being my favorite in regards to the illustrations.

Yay! I love Dr. Seuss. One of my favorites is The Lorax.

Today is Mixed up Monday...
Hannah is donning her mismatched tights with a pink shoe w/green shoelace and a brown shoe. She is also wearing purple pants with a pink skirt. On her upper body is a pink hoodie...backwards! I vision of loveliness...;)

Nothing beats the bofa on the sofa. (There's a Wocket in My Pocket). This book was popular around my house when I was growing up and we had our own live-in Bofa on the Sofa, but the one from the book was much more likeable than the one we had. And look, we have an emoticon in an appropriate hat. :hat: yay.

And Weisenheimer: I used to love watching the Lorax when I was little. I found this cartoon:

I'm having trouble finding the bofa on the sofa though

<------ The long suffering Max.

My absolute favorite Seuss character.
(It would have been the Grinch himself; but he went all squishy at the end)

Just thought this (http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/2010/02/seussical-sweets.html) would be appropriate for this thread :D. I love Dr. Seuss

Thanks, Lacra! You ought to check out some of the stories that Dr. Seuss wrote. His name was Dr. Theodore Seuss Geisel.

and he wrote many loved children's stories as:
The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the Sneetches, and Fox in Socks. Some of these stories has great messages, such as Green Eggs and Ham taught children that they ought to try something before deciding that they didn't like it, and the Sneetches that they shouldn't judge one another based on superficial characteristics. They are definitely worth while stories.

Good ole Dr. Seuss! I love him!

My favourite character is the Grinch, but since someone else already has him as an avi, I'll keep my regular one.
