I have recently had a new idea which I am very excited about. Instead of sitting in front of my computer and typing the whole thing out I am fairly certain I will dictate the whole way. I have this idea that since the story itself will be dictated from one person to another that it should be created that way. I am thinking that once I get my characters traits down I will be able to take on their role and hopefully speak as they would, hopefully without strayin into a rant which is what I tend to do.
Does anyone have any pointers or insights into this that I may overlook? Do you know of any obsticles that may have to be overcome with dictating instead of writing? I have never done any writing this way, but I am excited to give it a try. I will be starting this experiment/experience this weekend.
