I really like the impressionism and laid-back rhythm of the piece. I could imagine reading (or writing!) this while listening to Dark Side of the Moon. I love the naturalism in the descriptiveness that's vivid and striking without violating the tone of it.

cheers! interesting that it should remind you of dark side of the moon... i wrote it quickly after listening to the Muddy Water's song that gave the piece its name. i like your description of the poem's "naturalism"; that's pretty much what i was going for!
