Inner Journey-

From the point of view I find myself in,
Reality sways and drifts away.
For now I'm alone,
In my domain.

I am rule and law
Through the spaces I soar
Unraveling mysteries
I’ve created before

Rendering matter to my will;
I terminate and create,
Sustain and rewind,
Master of space and time.

My mind is released,
From the chains of rationality,
The grip of solemn grey,
The tiring strains

Please post your opinion! :-)

Because of the confidence in the first three stanzas, I expected something more authoritative, more in the way of closure, at the end.

Interesting little piece. Reminds me of the classic archetypal allegory of the comfort of rules VS the uncertainty of pure freedom and when we escape into ourselves we attain that freedom but it can be painfully lonely.

I agree with Prince, the last two lines need adjusting. Other than that, good work. ;)

Through this poem I am journeying eternally and nothing pinion my flight against infinity, for I am the infinity I am flying against. I am the bird that flies and I am the sky against which I flight and everything ends up in me
