Hi guys i haven't posted any of my poems in a long time for fear of theft (i'm sure you all know of that other website stealing everything we post on here). But i have decided to post anyway, because i really do value your opinions very much.

I haven't slept in weeks,
lying in beds afraid
of cities and loneliness,
howling at radiators,
moaning for more music in hell.

amazing how different
i feel now
than days ago
in another place.

*

I think of generations of rain,
and generations
of people
living in this house
that hasn't changed at all,
except the people living inside it.

There's nothing really wrong with them though I feel they sound more like the beginning of a short story instead of poetry. They aren't the most provocative and unique I've read. I might suggest thinking more in terms of imagery and metaphors rather than scenic descriptions.
(i'm sure you all know of that other website stealing everything we post on here). What?

We took care of the site stealing our poems, BT and Morpheus, and we took the cannolis when we left.

I'm with Morpheus on these pieces, BT. They do seem more like good seeds than something flushed out.

Thanks for your input, i think i may take your advice Morpheus and ff, and expand them into either longer poems or even short stories. I think they do seem like a good base upon which to build something.
