I was thrilled when I stumbled across this little community. It's very inspiring to know that there are still people who enjoy the feel of a good book in their hands. I'm so tired of being asked "What are you doing?" "Reading." "WHY?" GRRR. Because it's wonderful and stimulating and soul feeding and I love it. Books are the best friends you'll ever have and are always there for you when you need them (unless you can't find the book you're looking for).
Well, I guess I can tell you guys a little bit about myself... I love thunderstorms and the smell of rain. I hate the heat of the summer. I love every color except fushia and yellow. I don't care for dogs. They are too clingy. I prefer cats because they are arrogant and self-centered and don't need you and they let you know it. I have road rage and tend to get a little... vocal. I sing loud when I think that nobody is watching. I hate taking showers because my hair is almost down to my *** and it takes forever to dry. (Don't worry, I force myself to do it.) I like to surround myself with beautiful things. My books are my most valuable possessions. I'm a homebody but I love being with friends. I'm one of those people that usually only has a few close friends. Board games are awesome and I love it when I can play trivia with people who actually enjoy it. Everyone is always so afraid of saying the wrong answer and it drives me crazy! Let go and have fun. Life is all about laughter and relationships. I think it's very important to show people how you feel before it's too late.
If something is popular, it usually turns me off. I love vampires. Salem's Lot is a great book and Dracula is a super favorite of mine, but I can't say the same for Twilight. It might be great, but just because everyone is so in love with a completely unattractive kid who plays in a "could be good" film with terrible acting, I'm avoiding it like the plague. I watched the movie and was actually embarassed for them at the part when he's jumping through the trees and running up the hill with her on his back. Really. Yeah...
I'm here because I need some mental stimulation. I'm a stay at home mom who is experiencing her brain turn into porridge. Help!
