hi everyone, i'm about to give a talk about beauty, love and happiness in my english class in school, and i would like to start out with a quote taken from troilus and cressida,it reads as follows :

" outliving beauty's outward, with a mind that doth renew swifter than blood decays"

maybe you could just state shortly what pops into your mind, because i'd like it to turn into a sort of a discussion and it would really help me what to expect or not , of what people are gonna say and what i will have to do to divert the attention to what i wanna focus on.
thanks in advance xxx

To me it says that the there is something more eternal in the beauty of a creative mind, constantly renewing itself, than in visible, outward beauty. It reminds me of the handful of times in his sonnets when he asserts his own immortality through poetry (As long as men can read and eye can see/ So long lives this... etc) as though intellectual beauty can be enjoyed by every age whilst physical attractiveness is inevitably fleeting.

Hope that's something, good luck x
