Thanks Hoope. Still trying to get used to this site. Let's see, as far as favorite authors I'd have to say Tolstoy is my favorite so far even though I've only read one of his books, Anna Karenina. Wow that book was something else! I recently started Resurrection and I'm really enjoying that one as well. Some of my other favs are Dostoyevsky, C.S. Lewis, John Steinbeck, George Orwell, and Jules Verne just to name a few.

Oh Tolstoy ! I admire his life as i read his biography ; i am interested in reading War and Peace. Dostoyevsky is certainly one of the great writer i read Idiot for him .. George Orwell and the rest that you like are quiet similiar to my choice too.... Have you read anything for Charles Dickens.. ? He's the one i love :D I also recommend you to read for Edgar Allan Poe , he is a poet and his poem are really tremendous .. if you are in favour of poetry too :)

I tried a few by Dickens but got side tracked. I read a little of Oliver Twist, which I thought was OK, but was too impatient to start on another book. I tried to read "Our Mutual Friend" but found it difficult to follow. The main reason I bought it was because I saw it being talked about on 'Lost'! By the way, did you receive my message about the chess game? Still trying to figure out how this site works. It's a little confusing!:eek2:
