I understand that there are grammatical errors in this poem--for example the sixteenth line of the poem (or the last line in the second stanza), but poetically, those errors fit, and that's why I made them. I made those errors on purpose because they are more poetical than grammatically correct.

A very good poem, and yes I agree with you it is better to be poetically correct than gramaticaly correct. I have particularly found the final stanza to be strong and beautifully written. However If I may I believe a more constant structure for the poem, would have worked better.
