just one more for shats and gaggles.

“ Dear love “

Dear love, where is your loving land?
I waited for years, since birth, for your hand
To what caves have you fled, how can I keep strong?
My hope is on thrills, but thrills don't last long
Are you dead?

Dear love, is your soul broken like mine?
Are you waiting for truth, destiny, or time
If I hand you the chance, will you drift off to me?
Or will you still venture, far off in dreams
Are you dead?

Dear love, can you fall down for me?
To hold me so dear, so strong, so free
I have searched for all time, where is your light?
I'm falling for you, but I see not a sight
Are you dead?

Dear love, is that you that I see?
Or is it just not, a lost hope, a dead dream
These threads of my soul, they soon will unwind
So please my dear love, come down to my life
Don't Die

I like this piece better than your other becomes the end rhymes aren't nearly as distracting and the verse is more, well, diverse. I like how you conclude the "Are You Dead?" refrain as well. Also; isn't "sense" (line 2) meant to be "since"?

Wolf! I like your poem very much, it is ingenuous straightforward and speaks to love's heart directly! and it reads so well. Thanks for sharing it.
