Just a little thing I wrote after a dream I had. Wondering whether I have any talent at all?

Have you ever been asleep and thought you were awake? A dream so incredibly real you can taste it. Or maybe you've been dreaming so vividly that it scares the ever loving **** out of you. One of those dreams where you wake up to the sound of the Midnight Express and the seat belt digging into your gut or your shoulder, you can't tell which. And you lift your drug ****ed head up and swing it left and right and there it is.
Those big bright halogens creeping up like Monday morning doom. Except it's not Monday morning. Or maybe it is. You think too yourself; Wake up now, this dream has gone on way too long. But those yellow and red cross lights just keep blinking. And that annoying little bell you hear when the gates drop is giving you the ****s. You find yourself wondering if that little bell is your alarm clock trying to wake you and get you off into the daily grind, but it just isn't working.
Your arms aren't doing what their suppose to, but that's because your blanket is restricting you, right? You'd expect your significant other would have woken up by now, what with all the thrashing and kicking your doing. Assuming your unlucky enough to have that kind of other. You tell yourself that this is all part of it. Just a scary little dream your having because you've been a bit stressed lately. A nightmare, really. But that bead of sweat sliding down your forehead and into your eyes is telling a different story. The mind is powerful, it can make you think your sweating when your not. Just reassure yourself now. This isn't real. But right then a cool breeze swims in through the open window on the passenger side. That feels real. But this isn't your car. You've never seen this car before in your life. And you don't recognize where you are. That settles it. This is definitely just a dream.
Just as you've convinced yourself, a man has pulled up on the opposite side of the tracks. He is out of his car and yelling feverishly while pointing at you. He sounds so life like. Halfway through praising your superior brain power for inventing such vividness, you realize the train is getting near. Maybe fifty feet. Okay, time to wake up now. No it isn't. Dreams always end right at the last second. You know this. You've had that falling dream. The train is nearing, you can smell the metal, and that is when you wake up... Isn't it?
