In point of fact I often wonder whether or not sinners will be cleansed of the sins they have committed at the end of the day. In fact in Vedic philosophy at the end of the day both sins and pieties will be treated equally. Or to put this way, what we call profane and sacredness is not there in haven and these are mundane or worldly propensities. These are natural phenomena and spiritually or mystically it has nothing to do. Earthliness has to do with happiness and misery and heavenliness has little to do this. If you are still within earthly attributes you have net been able to rise above you are still under material predisposition, and there in heaven all will vanish and your position will be insubstantial.

Both sins and sacredness are worldly attributes and it has more to do with rewards and punishments. There is a very good term in Sanskrit called Karma and this is the idea that if you do good things you will be awarded with bonuses and if you do bad karma you will be given chastisement across the world. Enlightenment rise over and above these elements.

I hope you will come up with better ideas and illuminations on this issue.

Whoever made the dinosaurs, and than mankind, makes a point that man should fear the creator. I still have not gotten beyond that. Yet than there is a universe that is so large, so mankind, plants, and animals, are the anomalies. Now there is some judgement to deal with. People want each other to suffer in hell, etc, where is the good?

continued....

If you repent than you can be purged of sins. Who has time to worry about sinners other than God. If God wants to bother to punish mankind, than it makes sense that he would, but God doesn't seem to care about mankind. Some people believe that God will punish sinners and than those that he punishes will be healed. From what I know, it is the arch angel that does the punishing and they watch everything.

There is a way not to care about what God is planning. That seems to be the best answer, and more accurately, it isn't God that is the problem. It is always the people that are the problem. So there is a way not to care what these people are doing and that seems to solve judgement. For God will do what he wants and it does not matter what he does.

continued (2)...

It is fairly hard to judge as God might judge, for he made man to toil. We see that as a good thing, when we work hard it feels good afterward. Angels might not toil. Angels are at war. There is light and dark anyway, that is perhaps what God looks at when he sees a person. So does he judge by the aspect of the light of a person? Judgment might be something difficult to comprehend by mankind.

continued (last)...

Other factors such as facing different directions (N,S,E,W), colors that a person wears, and a head covering or no head covering, or what hand or side is used, all make a difference to a person. In the end, all a person can do is try to be comfortable. That is the solution to all of the judgement in the world, and the real work. If God wants to punish that, than he has to change his own plans and punish himself.

As a Roman Catholic, I strongly believe that on the day of that final judgment which is stated in the Book of Revelations, all sinners will be judged accordingly from what they have done. I also believe that we, regardless of our nationality,religion, principles in life, will be redeemed through the greatest love of God for us.

This is one aspect that kind of bears resemblance to many religions. In Hinduism it is believed that ultimately both people of profanity and sacredness meet with the same state. Sin and sacredness is a mundane reality and beyond that there is a spiritual state where all worldly attributes dissolve and man becomes purged of all whether it is sacred or profane. This is to be distilled of all worldly propensities and I cannot understand how it is taken in Christianity in point of fact.

Couple questions for reply;
- If it is called "day of judgment" and ALL sinners will have they sins forgiven, is it really "day of judgment"?

- If ALL sinners are forgiven, is there any kind of judgment at all? Judgment - if true one - means, that someone will get also punished.

- Who will be? Because everyone is sinner, it is quite logical to think, that those, who really try act and think like bible teaches, has opportunity to got redeemed, than those, who really want to be and live like no rules.

Great questions...
In order to really discuss these things, a certain standard of thinking and a particular pattern of rules must be agreed upon. What book of faith would be used as a guideline, and what 'God' would be considered as the judge?

Until a set of standards are agreed upon, little can really be resolved.

Very true. Lets think for a while about that?

Ok, how about this;

Because Jesus died for our sins and gave opportunity to get them clean, we can lead few questions more;

- What is sin? Sin means that we have done something bad, evil. What are they? They mean, that we have overcrossed some value of Godīs greatness, humanity, moral etc. For example bible tells very accurately, what kind of beviour is accepted, and which is not. And in this point into stage will step one, very important thing called faith. Why we need faith? Because we just cant always see all those results of our actions; Even something, that we have understand as a good thing, can be finally bad because of this. Faith has also other important meaning; Without it we are doomed into endless doubt. If we canīt trust that this and that is accepted, we have to live in uncertainty, which is very painful. If Jesus would not have any faith, question is, would he be so strong during execution? No, he had strong faith, and he was very strong person because of that.

- Now, because Jesus showed great faith, is it reasonable, that he demand it from us too? Did he die just because that we could get all our sins forgiven, no matter of state our mind or moral? He defended human values, widows, poors etc. If so, he died for us, and result is that thereīs no justice at all. No, he died, as he said, that everyone who will believe AND ACT as he teached. Last point is from his execution; Other criminal blasphemed him and he had no faith, other admitted, that they deserved they punisment. And which one Jesus accepted?
This also means, that in fact thereīs no matter, what kind of sins we have done. Matter is, do we really want to change our behavior now and in future? Of course we cannot be perfect, but i believe, that this is the main point; Usually people think, that God is in they side. But question should be; Are we in Godīs side? Everyone has opportunity to choose.

All the people who try and convert me say that if you accept God and Jesus into your life, and repent your sins, all your sins will be forgiven, no matter what. I am assuming that this is what is meant by the story of Christ's execution... the man who believed that Jesus was the son of god and asked for forgiveness went to heaven, the man who didn't repent and didn't believe went to hell.

From this, the general assumptions of my converters (who were close to fundamentalist) was that all non-believers went to hell. All sinners that did not repent went to hell. However, all believers, regardless of their sins, who asked God for forgiveness and accepted that Jesus died on the cross for their sins went to heaven.

I think that statements from Jesus such as "It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to go to heaven" had the meaning that it is hard for a rich man to 'fess up and ask god forgiveness for the sin of greed, avarice, and so on that got him to that point in life. A man who truly repented for being rich would, maybe not give up all he owns, but at least give a great deal of his money to the poor, etc.

I hope that answers your question.

If love is greatest feature of God, is reasonable to believe, that hell really exists? It would mean that we will be tortured forever for our limited-life sins. That would not be even justice. That would be eternal revenge.

Also, Job was extremely rich man, and God loved him. So final thing must be state of heart and mind.

I hope that answers your question.

At least for me that answers nothing.

It was not for being 'rich' that he needed to repent. It was that he put his own riches before anything else...selfishness...that he needed to repent.

Heh, we posted at same time.

Well, this reminds me one thing from the bible; LOVE of money, is root of all evil.

Not money, but loving it is. So, if rich man did not want to help poor man, he was just greedy, and IT was the sin, not that he was rich.
