Let's see if we can pour.
A love that will reawaken.
And brighten the darkened soul.
That sadness has sorely taken.
***
Pour, and pour till we are empty.
And every drop is gone.
Love received on your parched soul.
Brightens like the dawn.
***
Is no small thing that we pray.
Our own tears we do shed.
Our fellow man has past away.
Loved ones are burying their dead
***
Why this evil on gentile people?
I hear the query go.
And even from the learned men.
They tell us they don't know.
***
But from the words of long ago.
An answer comes to light.
Time will come and we will see.
These wrongs will be set aright.
***
How long will we have to wait.
Till the pain is something past.
I hear the word from behind.
The day is coming fast.
***
So now I bow my head to pray.
For my brothers to endure.
There will come a time to say.
"See my love ones whole and pure."
***
No more will there be pain.
Our tears are washed away.
Death will no longer stain.
Perfect life upon on that day.
***
Behold the weak you the strong
And help your fellow man.
With deeds, and acts of sacrifice.
Help widows, and orphans stand.
***
Let's see if we can pour.
A love that will reawaken.
And brighten the darkened soul.
That sadness has sorely taken.
***
Pour, and pour till we are empty.
And every drop is gone.
A love received on your parched soul
To brighten you as the dawn.
