I probably won't read any replies before I make my decision but what the hell. I'm still reading Invisible Man but I want to start another novel as well, I like variety. Should it be Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card or Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger?

Of those two - I know where I'd go. Strongly. Actually, overwhelmingly.

But I only know that because I've read both.

Unless you feel you are likely to die in the next eight days, I'd suggest reading both.

Then again, if you are likely to die in the next eight days, I'd suggest reading neither. Your life, unlike most lives, really is too short. Spend your rent on cocaine and sex. Invent a new pasta sauce and leave the recipe to someone you love. Fly to Barcelona. Books can't help you now.

Or read both.

Ooh tough question.
I have a soft spot for Ender's Game, so go for that one.

Let us know how it is! I've heard good and bad things about it and have thought of reading it myself.

read enders game. I have read them both and I would much rather read enders game then catcher.
