I found the parts of my heart
Piece by piece they went together

We just weren’t meant to be
I guess I didn’t I see
You had the key

You always made the decisions
You held my heart
You made the final incision
And cut me apart

I regret what I did each day
Why did I let it go on?
I just wish I had the courage to say
Ill love you still from this day on

I agree it's pretty touching.
The poem seems to describe the typical heartache of teenage, but I like it. :)
