far from familiar

to find your hand
I have to feel the culture shock
to know your ways
and flee from the sense of me
to find your praise

but it is only sometimes

other times i feel so close to you
i am urged
to purge
myself of this foreign entity
trying to absorb the whole of me
and the stronger i repel
the stronger
We propel
ourselves back into eachother's arms

this is limbo
this is
heaven
and
hell
so eternally meld
in a state of disharmony
for you to have become a part of me
we have earned ourselves purgatory

this is the battleground
prior to the first fire
all souls intent on victory
all intent on the enemy
to be
the victim to be
the quiet calm
before the two forces collide

I really enjoyed this, the structure was quite interesting, and I loved the concept behind it. Some great lines.
