Hi. I'm Amel from Indonesia. I teach English writing skills in a local college in Jakarta. It's somewhat boring, I know. But I also write English poems and stories. I joined this site to find online friends who also enjoy creative writing especially poetry and fiction. Hi Amel, I just made my account a few moments ago and would love to discuss creative writing with you. I've written only a few pieces myself, but have been keeping a reflective journal for over a year now and am excited to share ideas with you if you are still interested. Hi Amel, Sneak, I myself write poems from time to time. Although my motherlanguage is Dutch, I have problems writing English or German poetry as well.

Sneak, what pieces have you written? I journaled extensively since I was eleven. But now I mostly focus on composing poems and short stories for my MFA portfolio. I didn't win the two scholarships before, and I'm not as excited about it anymore. But creative writing still amuses me the most (other than sarcasm, naturally). I would like to discuss about ideas to write and to exchange suggestions or criticism to better our writings.

Roger100, I can comment if your poems are in English. But I seriously don't know any Dutch word at all. Sorry. If you're interested in poem criticism, I'd be glad of any help.
