How is the relationship between Cathy and Heathcliff different from other relationships presented in the novel?

That’s the question my teacher left the class with before the Christmas holidays. He wasn’t in for 2 weeks and expects a full essay by Monday.

I've got Catherine and Heathcliffs relationship pretty much figured out, but its the other relationships like Hareton and Catherine, Linton and Catherine, Edgar and Cathy and Hindley and Frances.
I don’t know what to talk about and how to compare and contrast the relationships with Heathcliff and Catherine.

Any help would be much appreciated!

The obvious one would be that they're self destructive towards each other when compared to the other characters' relationships. I'm sure you'll be able to finish it by Monday. It doesn't sound bad. Get used it because when college comes up this assignment will pale in comparison. Good luck!
