Oh, I have really struggled to respond to this poem. My heart goes out to the ideas in this poem of the misery, loneliness, and longing and some kind of love or sexual desire that is not fulfilled. To me the images are very powerful.

Joyless nights wrap unto thickened gloom
Despair caresses cripple minds, veiled tonight
Born to be buried- fly such ordered tomb
Soar upon unsung desire, sail sensations might
Chained to be

To just forget about it for one night in a dream...to let the dream quench the desire is lovely.
I myself have had many dreams like this and only awoken to panic, despair, and sometimes even longing to return to that dream world.

haha when i first wrote this poem there were no sexual connotations but now that i have re-read it i see that my diction creates that very possible interpretation of it.

I have another 2 new poems to post il put them in this thread later tonight or tomorrow.
