I'm looking for a book about living a GREAT Life, full of joy and excitement. A book about developing a strategy to live life and becoming very succesful in life. What book do you recommend?

Jude the Obscure, by Thomas Hardy.

Yes, Jude the Obscure is one, but there seem to be so many. Doesn't most good literature achieve this? I just finished re-reading The Razor's Edge by Somerset Maugham. As the novel ends the author claims each major character got what they wanted from life, so maybe this one is for you. Just about all of Shakespeare of course.

Or among non-fiction: Conquest of Happiness by Bertrand Russell, Advice to Young Men by William Cobbett, The Book: On The Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are by Alan Watts, or finally for a larger view of life try Lessons of History by Will & Ariel Durant.
