Where was Shakespeare's house in Windsor? Did he write Merry Wives there?

I wasn't aware that Shakespeare had a house in Windsor or lived there; the reason he wrote The Merry Wives Of Windsor was that Queen Elizabeth requested that she would like to see Falstaff in love.
