Love has thus turned into a stranger.

Some claim that silence begets strength and power,

it too has brought me solitude's slumber.

I think you make a reflective point that speaks poetically.

It is a bit too cliched but I think the real problem is that for this kind of melancholic heaviness it helps to put it in the context of a larger poem where you can build up towards it instead of making it so short and one-dimensional.
