I am trying to find a story that I think was written by Brecht. This is a very brief plot summary:
A fisherman is conversing with another man (perhaps another fisherman or a visitor) about life and the future. The man tells the fisherman to work harder and become rich so that he can retire, sit on the dock, and enjoy looking at the water. The fisherman says that he already does that so why go through the trouble of become rich.

Does anyone here know this story?
Is it Brecht? Title? Translation into English?

Thanks!

Why don't you look up Berthold Becht in Wikipedia? I have a beautiful copy of the Three Penny Opera and one of The Beggar's Opera by John Gay from which The Three Penny Opera was taken. Kurt Weil collaborated with Brecht on some of his works so you might try Googling Kurft Weil.
