Vinsat: Me. Person speaking in first person.
Deon: Person who's a pain. Lived with my brother and I till four years ago.
Clay: Awesome blind kid. He canskateboard better than me.
Megan: Another pain. And what a coincidence, she's Deon girlfriend. Some funny reason, I don't think he likes her much. (So, why the heck are they girlfriend a boyfriend?) No idea!
Chapter :_:
I sat at the fountain lonely and interested only in myself; my eyes felt like they'd pop out of their sockets in about any moment from total lack of sleep. And let's not forget I was in a bad mood because, Kadaj, my only true, caring, loving, friend filled brother was out all night with a GIRLY-GIRL. How could Kadaj fall in love with a dimwitted girl like that?!
Clay sat down next to me and began unwrapping his sandwich. Clay was a blind kid, a few months older than me, he managed pretty well for himself, except in big crowds. He had a small air, but not as big as butt pain Deon. I starred at his sandwich for a moment, ham, I loved ham sandwiches. "That looks good." I said.
Clay paused from taking a bite. "What do you have?"
I pulled out my lunch and some Doritos, "Doritos and a cheese sandwich." He smiled wirily.
"I'll trade you…" I snatched the sandwich from him and handed the Doritos to him. Ok, more like threw them at him. But hey, he caught 'em.
"You don't need to ask me twice." I said.
Out of the blue, I began hearing voices whispering. I looked at Clay who seemed to be listening as he threw a chip in his mouth. Suddenly a shadow was cast on me and when I looked up and I saw Prince-Charming-Deon.
I was waiting for all the girls to pass out on the floor and let out a sigh. Surprisingly, no one did.
"Hey" he said, "What's up?" He asked sitting down next to Clay, he tried to get a chip but Clay flipped the bag shut and went closer to me with a playful smile.
"The sky." I answered dryly, tearing a piece of my sandwich. Deon gave me a quick glance.
"I don't have to listen with this." He said. If he was talking to himself, he was still going to have to listen to what I had to say.
I threw my arms into the hair and said in a bright-sarcastic tone, "You're absolutely right!" I said loud enough for a few other people around us could here, "So why don't you walk away and leave us alone?" Why the heck did I just say 'us'. Both Clay's and Deon's eyes widened when I said it. I'd never include anybody to be with me, other than my bro. "So where were you yesterday?" I asked changing the subject. My cheeks were burning still though. Gosh, how could I be so stupid!
"I went to see someone." Deon said seeming a bit awkward.
Clay welcomed himself to the conversation. "A girl?" Nice… I thought.
Deon glared at Clay, which was pointless. "No." he answered flatly seeming uncomfortable.
"Hiding something we are." I tried to mimic Yoda, which turned into a complete disaster. Clay chuckled.
Deon tried to grab another chip and this time Clay let him.
"Where'd you go then?" Megan stood over Deon with a worried expression. Perfect for a Princess and her Prince.
"Uh…" Deon was stuck.
"If he's not going to tell us, we're just wasting our time." I said directly at Megan. she gave me a glare that was ment to kill. But it wouldn't work on me, I'd just glare back.
She shrugged, "I guess your right." She walked away tossing her hair like a Prima Dona. Gosh, I hated that girl.
"Duh, I'm right." I mumbled bitterly sticking my tongue out of my mouth. Clay laughed quietly.
I looked at Deon and he mouthed "thanks" I made a hammy smile trying to make it as large and tacky as I could. Deon smiled and laughed softly. And strangely enough, I knew me and Deon were friends again.
