Hi. You may remember me from such self help tapes like 'Smoke yourself thin' and 'Get some confidence Stupid!'

I wanted to wish friends and Lit-netters who celebrate Christmas a very Merry X-mas. And if you don't -enjoy the holidays! (Hope no one's reading this thinking 'Holidays? That word doesn't feature in my boss' dictionary').

I could have easily done this in my blog - but I can't seem to access my blog. Removed? Banned? Technical error? Mmmmm....hey, in my defense I was never that profane!

Best wishes and love

Opti, xx

edit: let's have a christmas buffet this weekend!!! Please bring one item of food and dress up as your favourite Christmas character. I will go for the conventional most like me - GRINNNCCCCHHHH - Scrooge with a sense of humour basically!

And no buffet is complete without Pringles...

I'm having costume troubles: I can't decide between Mrs Hankey the drunken Christmas poo or the Christmas sleigh...my sleigh outfit fits better; but last year Jim Carey sat on my face:lol:

I'll bring my special carrot souffle; don't like carrots, you'll like this:
3 eggs, a lot of confectionary sugar, a lot of butter and canned carrots...yum:p

I would like to be the Christmas Fairy and light all the candles and and lights on the tree...perhaps I will look more like a tiny angel and flit from branch to branch and also adorn on top of the tree, while the festivities take place.

I would like to bring both Miniature Cream Puffs and Creme Broulet....my all-time favorite desserts asside from ice-cream!

Jude *my dog* will be Santa Claus.
He will bring his favorite treats: stolen apples and forbidden chocolate off of the counter top...

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. I'm currently sitting in my den/library listening to a recently purchased disc of classical Indian music performed by the great Ravi Shankar...

... as we're gathered 'round the Chistmas tree, sipping egg nog...

Surely nothing spells Christmas like egg-nog and ragas...

I think I'd look pretty good in a Nehru Jacket passing out egg nog (spiced up with a little bit of Christmas Spirits... if not some Jack Daniels)... just call me the Spirit of Christmas Present...

And my oh my! I could certainly go for a piece of that fudge... and perhaps some good Belgian ale brought over form that other thread!:D

Are you trying to suck up to Santa since you've been naughty all year long?

I'm scrooging around the house lamenting how everybody is with their families, and everything is closed. To be honest I am just anticipating New Years when I am going out for a banquet meal - until then, mediocre holiday specials on TV.
