An interview with Paperleaves:
Why are we doing this interview thing?
I have no idea, but it makes me feel special ^_^
Are you sure you want to do this?
Absolutely!
Got milk?
Yes, white and chocolate, actually.
Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?
Me. I'm a closet cookie monster.
If you had a personal theme song what would it be?
Don't be afraid of the Dark by The Sonics
Are you male or female?
Female
What makes you keep coming back?
The creative environment and positivity of the boards!
Are you happy with the way things are here?
Definitely--I think they are perfect--the best boards I have ever been a part of.
Which countries have you visited?
Just the States, unfortunately. Going to Europe in a couple years! Gonna visit Prague, London, Paris, etc. :)
How do you like your home town?
It was in the ghetto of Columbus, so I didn't particularly feel safe there, but I've always found harbingers of danger rather idyllic in a sense.
If you could live somewhere different, where would it be and why?
In a village in Mexico, or I would time travel to America ante-invasion and live in an Indian tribe. Not sure which one though.
Do you have any pets?
No! I want a gecko, but I have no money.
What makes you happy?
Writing, painting...creating, basically. Being a hopeless romantic, yoga, anime, and hot showers.
What is mankind's biggest achievement, and its greatest downfall?
Mankind's biggest achievement, I believe, was the innovative stance we hold toward medicine today. Helping people maintain healthy lives is the most incredible thing that we could have ever done for each other. We have too many downfalls to measure...
Do you feel comfortable in your walk with God/atheism?
Not entirely, I am agnostic, but I believe in a God/higher power, and I'm okay with not understanding everything.
Which actor should play you in a movie based on your life?
Probably Kate Winslet. I think she'd do a fantastic job.
Given the option, what animal would you choose to be?
Either a wolf or an eagle. I love the idea of protecting what you love at all expenses like wolf packs do, but flying over all of creation is pretty tempting.
What were your favorite things to do the past? What about now?
I used to love to read books day and night, but now, since I am incredibly busy, I prefer to read when I can and write at every chance.
What makes you feel great about yourself?
The fact that I am a fighter--everything I have, I have fought to protect and obtain.
How did you meet your significant other?
I don't have one, but I met my ex boyfriend in the hallway at my high school. He was walking out of detention and I was walking out of Literary Arts Club.
Who inspires you most?
Many people on these boards, and above all, my father. He is probably the strongest human being I know in every way and is selfless and stern while being capable of the greatest form of love--fatherhood.
What are you naturally good at? (Skills, abilities, gifts etc.)
Writing (I think), tennis, yoga, inspiring others, and being positive when needed.
What is the one thing you must do before you die?
Learn how to play the violin and travel the world.
If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
I would teach creative writing classes at a university.
What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?
I would regret not being true to who I am, but I do that pretty well. i would regret not traveling, writing as often as i should, and enjoying life instead of worrying.
What method do you cherish above all others, as means to improving your life?
I don't entirely understand this question (long day) but I cherish conversation, whether written or spoken, because I believe it has the ability to change your life and expand your horizons greatly.
What is your role in an emergency situation: the 911 dialer, the person who runs to the scene to help, the video recorder, or the person too overcome by shock to do anything?
Definitely the dialer. I like to take action and anticipate mistakes before they occur, so I am the first to take the reins.
