I heard the ringing from behind
it drowned the thought inside my mind
the message i may never read
but for such words I have no need
what can be done to fill my time-
when cornered with impatient whines?
when deafened with a lively drone?
when fear becomes familiar tone?
in vain attempt i swing my sword
to disconnect; to cut the cord
to run and not again come near
the voices folded to my ear
