Right is there any chance that any of you lovely people could help me on this?
I have to Psychoanalyse some of Poes poems and write an essay where I compare two other pieces of gothic literature for my Coursework. If anybody could possibly point me in the right direction of where I may acquire information for me to build on my essay please feel free to PM me.
Thank you

Im my opinion, if you psychoanalyze Poe's poems you will find whatever you want to find. It's a waste of time.

There is much to analyze from a psychological point when tackling Poe. There is a book I recommend, should you be so interested in this subject even six years later, by Scott Peeples called The Afterlife of Edgar Allan Poe. No, it is not a waste of time as one user suggested. It is very interesting. I would take what Marie Bonaparte said with a grain of salt, however. Cheers!
