Cycle of Life

I felt the ache loom
triggering tendersweet pain
It throbbed like a yearning desire
to be free
to have flow
so I could let go
and be human once more

this seems to be on the brink of crying. i'm thankful for poetry that allows abstract expression of human motivations.
