Greetings I am currently a high school student however I recently have embarked upon the path of poetry, hopefully in the future poetry can become more than just a hobby for me. Anyways to cut to the point this is my first poem and I would deeply appreciate it if some of you could take the time to read it and give any feedback or voice opinions about it.

welcome - I praise your daring and debut - keep writing... just turn your ear more to your inner voice... to the Speaking Silence of your soul...

Did Pizarro go to Samarkand?

I immensely enjoyed the theme and visual imagery of this poem. tend to enjoy poems about classical themes.

Hope you get to ski.

Thank you, oh and to answer your question I have no idea honestly I used Pizarro more for the type of conquest which he represents.

I have one last question, shouldn't Pizarro descend on the beast and slaves, not the other way around? What did I miss?

Ah yes I can understand the confusion, In reference to the beasts and slaves they descend upon a cacophony of celebration as they are being brought back to the city as conquests and prizes of war and exploration.

To me it was confusing, maybe clean that up a little or not. overall it is still well written, like your other humorous poem.
