Hi. I'm Michele, an eighteen years old Italian student from Bergamo, a city near Milan. I'm attending the fifth (and so the last) year of the Secondary School.

I'm really interested in all humanistic issues; in particular I like debating philosophical and political questions.

I also like literature very much. I love the way authors from every period can speak to you through their texts and make you reflect upon them. In this way literature can intensify your time and enrich your life.

Other things about me...

Politically, I don't think to have the complete knowledge of politics required to support one particular side. So I try to consider facts and express my position.

I'm really convinced students are fundamental in society, so I'm trying to encourage my schoolmates to take responsibilities and care about the world around them.

Moreover, I think English is the future for everyone living in our time. I do 4 hours a week of English at school, but they are insufficient if you do not use the language in concrete situations.

So, while I was looking for a place where I could have united English and literature, I have found this interesting forum. I'm here to see if this experiment will be successful.

I hope to give you a good contribute.

If there are any curiosities about Italy or me, please let me know: I will be glad to respond!

Welcome Mich and Nuaj. I hope you enjoy lit net. And this is definitely not a place where we talk politics. It's literature, though a few people decide they need to talk about philosophic junk. But make yourself at home. :)
