Unpredictable Life

When everything comes unpredictable
I laid my cards on the line
Uncertain what lies ahead of me
I trust no one but this strength of mine.

I thought I could live to every lie
I thought I could swallow my bitter pride
I thought I could stand to what I know
I thought I could… but myself is my foe.

I’ve been chasing rainbows in the sky
Catching every butterfly
On the field of never ending
Till my hopes and dreams have gone fading.

Standing on my shadow that I can’t see
I’m trying to find this thing called key
To open what’s there inside of me
A heart? A soul? What could it be?

There’s no more time to waste
Or time to chase,
There maybe no more time for all of this
But before I fade with the wind
Unlock my soul with my heart content.

Now I’m chasing rainbows in the sky
Catching every butterfly
On the field of never ending
With you, my hopes and dreams are now never-fading.
