If life were an auction, if life were a game,
No regard for caution, no need for fame,
I'd sell me heart on ebay,
To see if you would buy,
Ninety-nine pence start bid, the limit is the sky.

Would you be a watcher? would you be a bid?
Glancing at our picture, my feelings, as ever, hid,
I understand the reason, and know,
That you would see my auction, and scroll the other way,
I have 0% feedback, what else is there to say?

Every hint you gave me, those times that you logged in,
My details left you empty, regarded as a sin,
"Daylight robbery" You'd shout and yell,
"To take so much, and give so little,
Watch who your burning, for trust is so brittle!"

Did I ever listen? Did i ever learn?
Reduce my damn postage, and finally start to earn,
I think you know the answer,
My profits tell the story, me feedback paints the art,
That's why I'm on the market, selling my broken heart.

But remember this, and remember it well,
Your name is still carved neatly, which is why it will never sell,
The value is in the signature,
A value in sentiment, not pound,
For I will forever be it's soul owner, as it, to you, will forever be bound.

This is a fun poem, although I'm not a fan of the message at the end.

i agree the last line is a little jumbled, but i don't suppose you could go into a little more detail? criticism is always appreciated. Thanks
