Hey want to hear a weird story, my grade six teacher told me many years ago, about this one fellow. He had a fight with his wife and said that if he went to work (In an iron/metal factory). Something bad will happen. He stated he would spend the day in bed. His wife claimed he was being ridiculous and sent the children off to school and she went to work.

She returned home 5 hours later to find that the roof had fallen in on him. He died instantly.

I have a thing about bad luck. If it is going to happen it will. There are no set days of bad luck in my life. Just constant rotten luck. So I just add Friday 13th to my many lists of bad lucks...:crash::sick:

Strange story! Hope it wasn't true!!

My Friday the 13th is almost over now, I got through it relatively unscathed. Yay!

No, that's what made me not believe. I didn't want to be a statistic. Can you imagine his wife and children???

Oh goodness that's awful! For my friday the 13th it's still the morning so hopefully I won't have anything bad happen for me today. But 13 is my lucky number so maybe something good will happen. Well I guess something has, I passed an honor's english class test! yay! :) I'm a optomist so I have hope everyday that something good will happen.

I spent most of the day up to my arse in mud, in sub-zero temperatures. Not fun at all... eventually my compatriots and I mutinied on our professor and fled to a pub...

...I still can't feel my toes...

Lol, I didn't even know until I saw this thread. Well, I'm watching Werner Herzog's Stroszek not exactly a horror movie, but certainly a strange one. Such an amazing film.

Holy smoke!! If it weren't true it would be funny. Well, it did happen on Friday the 13th.

I better jump out of bed and get under a strong table. :p

I totally forgot it was Friday the 13th. I was busy preparing for year 2012.

I had a linguistics test that wasn't as nearly as hard as it could have been, considering the amount of time I studied (I think). I've done well on all the other tests, and I don't think I failed, but cross your fingers to ward off any bad Friday 13th vibes. So sad, it's the only class I have that I like...

Oh, I almost forgot! I think there was some kind of illegal activity going on in the parking garage today! I tried to get out of there as fast as possible!

So there I was, quietly having breakfast, giving my Welsh homework a quick once-over before class, thinking to myself, 'I don't remember buying the muesli with hazelnuts in it....in fact, I avoided buying the museli with hazelnuts in it....so why have I got a hazelnut in my mouth.....' and discovered that expensive crown that took so long for the dentist to fix had come adrift. So, instead of a Welsh class for which, for once, I was prepared, it was a trip to the dentist (and a return trip on Monday). Move up under that table, Virgil - I think I'll join you.

A Cd that I purchased and recieved yesterday was fresh out of the packaging but would not work yesterday, in any player. I was disappointed. Now I have this useless CD...

You plan to flee the planet by then? Can I book a lil space for myself in your spaceship before the end of days? :D

Can't you take it back?
Not likely. Those CDs are often possessed, unwilling to be taken back :cold:

Thanks, Virgil - sadly the thirteenth spread its malign influence to Monday the sixteenth - dentist could not re-fix crown after all because more tooth had broken away with it, so she levelled the remaining tooth and put a flat filling over it. Brilliant - didn't hurt a bit! And because it didn't hurt, I forgot all about it and brushed my teeth with usual vigour before going to bed - and removed the new filling. :bawling: It was with me all of eight hours. So it's back to the dentist on Thursday - a week of 'thirteen'-ism is too much of a muchness.

Oh boy. Well, sometimes we hit some bad streaks. Let's hope next week things turn around for you. :)
