Why did they wait such a long time to catch Julia and Winston?
Havent they been up there various times? I would've thought that if Mr. Charrington was a 'bad guy', that Winston would've been caught there very first time he even went into his store. Were they waiting to see if they could catch more people?

I think it just made breaking them all the more effective. They realized that even when they were rebelling and thought they were getting somewhere the Party had the control the whole time, and there really was no way to escape the party.
